This leak test is performed over a 48 hour period to determine if there is a leak in your swimming pool.
- 24 hours under normal equipment operation to determine if a leak is present in the equipment or plumbing between equipment and swimming pool.
- 24 hours with equipment shut down to determine if a leak is present in shell/body of pool.
On average, swimming pools lose about a quarter of an inch of water each day, yet variations in wind intensity, humidity and sunlight can drastically change water loss rates. This can result in a significant increase in water usage as temperatures increase and depending on the surface area of your swimming pool.
In our experience the vast majority of suspected leaks turn out to be irrigation/sprinkler systems because of this we charge $175 for our leak test, if we determine there is a leak, a quote for locating exact location of the leak and repairing will be given.
